At last night’s annual Best of Bride 2009 party the editors of Oregon Bride magazine announced that Focal Point Digital Media has been voted “Best Videographer” by their readers!  Thank you so very much to our brides, their families, friends, and fans that voted, we truly appreciate the support that it took to allow us to achieve this honor.

The hip and happenin’ Best of Bride party was held this year at the Aveda Institue’s brand new event space in Portland’s historic Pearl District.  The crowd numbered close to 1,000, the music was (very) loud and lively, the drinks were flowing freely, Dosha sponsored a killer fashion show, and of course Oregon Bride’s editors named this year’s winners and debuted the new issue of Oregon Bride.  Overall a great night, made even greater with the award!

Each year the Best of Bride Awards are determined exclusively by the votes of Oregon Bride’s readers.  The brand new “Best of 2009” issue released last night at the party is on newsstands now, so check it out!  Oregon Bride magazine is the leading bridal publication in the area, with a readership of 95,000 per issue.  A full listing of this year’s Best of Bride winners is also available online by clicking here.

Congratulations also to our friends and colleagues who were also honored, including “Best Overall Vendors” Evrim Icoz Photography and Willaby’s Catering.  Well deserved Evrim and Jean!!  Also taking home awards were our good friend Jordan from Blüm: Design in Flowers who was voted “Best Florist,” Ben and Laurel Powers of Powers Studio who won “Best Photographer,” and Willamette Valley Vineyards which was named “Best Reception Site.”  Way to go friends!  =)
